Goin' to see the Dark Man
I just finished Steven King’s The Stand earlier this week. On Twitter, I mentioned how unsettling this was, taking into account the near-pandemic swine flue so recently in the news. Immediately I received notification that motherabigail and VegasWalkinDude were following me on Twitter. motherabigail’s apocalyptic and archaic tweets are a constant source of amusement.
The real killer is that I’m headed to Vegas next week for RailsConf. I had imagined I was the type of person to end up in Boulder, but it seems my fate is to be vaporized in the desert.
